Major Success for Police in Lalgola, Inter-District Bike Smuggling Ring Uncovered! 17 Stolen Motorcycles Recovered

**Lalgola:** While investigating a motorcycle theft, the Lalgola police achieved a significant success. Based on the investigation, two suspects from an inter-district bike smuggling ring were caught. After interrogating the arrested individuals, a total of **17 stolen motorcycles** were recovered through various operations. Police sources indicate that the names of two more accomplices have also emerged in this case.


According to police sources, a motorcycle theft complaint was filed at Lalgola police station on **May 27, 2026**. Based on the complaint, a case numbered **446/26** was registered. The police initiated an investigation under section **303(2) of BNS**.


At the beginning of the investigation, investigators reviewed multiple **CCTV footages** from the crime scene and surrounding areas. They started identifying suspects involved in the theft by analyzing the footage. Subsequently, several important pieces of information came to light during the investigation.


The police claimed that acting on a tip-off, an operation was conducted in the Raghunathganj police station area on **August 1, 2026**. From there, one of the main accused in the case, **Kamal Sheikh**, was arrested. After being presented in court, he was taken into police custody for 10 days.


During prolonged interrogation in police custody, investigators claimed to have obtained crucial information from Kamal Sheikh. During questioning, he confessed to his crime and revealed the name of his accomplice, **Tinku Sheikh**.


Based on the information provided by Kamal, the Lalgola police conducted another operation in the Raghunathganj area. During this operation, **Tinku Sheikh** was arrested. Investigators began questioning the two while they were face-to-face.


The police claimed that during interrogation, the arrested individuals provided the locations of various hidden stolen motorcycles. Based on that information, the police conducted continuous search operations in multiple areas and recovered a total of **17 stolen motorcycles**. The recovered bikes have been seized.


Further investigation revealed the names of two more accomplices linked to this bike smuggling ring. Search operations have already begun to locate them.


The recovery of 17 stolen motorcycles while investigating a single bike theft has created a stir in the area. The Lalgola police are looking into whether this ring is connected to a larger **inter-district stolen bike smuggling network** or if there is another organized network behind it.
