The Tiger Returns to the Jungle of Buxa, Historic Moment in Alipurduar on Gandhi Jayanti

**Alipurduar, October 2:** After a long wait. On the special day of Gandhi Jayanti, a tiger returned to the Buxa Tiger Reserve. On Friday, a three-year-old tigress was released into the natural environment in the forests of Buxa Tiger Reserve. A special atmosphere has been created in Alipurduar surrounding this event.

The process of releasing the tigress into the Buxa jungle was completed in the presence of Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, and Forest Minister Manoj Oraon. The tigress was kept in a natural enclosure of about 2.2 hectares. From there, she was released into the environment of the Buxa Tiger Reserve.

On this day, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari entered the Buxa jungle through the Rajabhatkhawa gate. After staying inside the jungle for about an hour, he joined the event organized at the Parade Ground in Alipurduar city. There, the Chief Minister also visited various stalls of government and forest departments.

The presence of a tiger in the Buxa jungle has created enthusiasm among nature lovers and locals. This initiative to bring back a tiger to the Buxa Tiger Reserve after a long time has sparked renewed interest in environmental and wildlife conservation.
