Seven Dead, Multiple Injured in Morning Fire at Tarapith—Area in Shock
**Tarapith:** A devastating fire broke out in a private hotel in Tarapith early Monday morning. So far, seven people have died in the incident. Several individuals have sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition, raising fears that the death toll may rise further.
According to local sources, around 4:30 AM, a sudden fire erupted on the ground floor of a private hotel named 'Bidishini', located near Tarapith police station by the pond. The fire spread rapidly, causing panic among the hotel residents.
Multiple fire engines arrived at the scene upon receiving the news. Along with extinguishing the fire, efforts began to rescue the residents trapped inside the hotel. After prolonged efforts, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control.
