Raging waters are approaching, workers running for their lives! Another terrifying video from Nepal goes viral

**Nepal:** A sudden torrent of water is rushing down the mountains. Along with it comes mud, silt, and debris. A terrifying flash flood is approaching right before our eyes. And workers are running for their lives to escape the oncoming flow. Such a video of a devastating natural disaster in Nepal has gone viral on social media.

The situation has become dire due to sudden floods and landslides in the Himalayan region near the Nepal-Tibet border. Water mixed with mud and debris is rushing down the slopes of the mountains into the valleys at a rapid pace. Reports suggest that multiple villages have been virtually wiped out.

The viral video shows several workers at a construction site. Suddenly, they see a massive torrent approaching with a loud roar. Panic spreads through the area in an instant. The workers start running to save their lives. A few seconds of delay could have meant being swept away by the powerful current.

The video was captured by a worker's camera. Later, according to media reports, they were rescued with the help of a helicopter after the disaster.

Not only is this scene of workers trying to save their lives going viral, but several other videos of Nepal's catastrophic disaster have also spread on social media. In one video, an iron bridge is seen being swept away in the blink of an eye by the force of the rushing water. In another scene, water mixed with mud is seen flowing through populated areas. Homes and other infrastructure have been damaged by the water's force.

According to initial reports, the areas of Timure and Sabrubesi near the Nepal-Tibet border have been the most affected. Rescuers in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot areas are searching for the missing by clearing piles of mud and silt. Many people are reported missing due to the disaster. It is unclear how many are still trapped under the rubble.

Residents of risky riverside areas have been instructed to move to safer places. Rescuers are also facing difficulties while conducting rescue operations in the affected areas. Due to the flooding, multi-story buildings and homes have been damaged, and efforts are ongoing to find survivors by clearing the layers of mud and silt.

Meanwhile, several areas of Nepal have virtually turned into rubble due to the severity of the flash floods and landslides. The gravity of the situation is becoming clearer with each new video spreading on social media. However, it is advised to view all viral videos with caution until the information and casualty figures are officially confirmed.
