Headphones for just Rs 1! Huge rush over offer, Khosla Electronics forced to shut shop to control situation

**Asansol:** Offer of headphones for just Rs 1! Large crowds of customers gathered from morning due to this offer. The situation reached such a point that the authorities were finally forced to shut the shop. Moreover, the crowd of customers caused a severe traffic jam on the road. Traffic police reached the spot to handle the situation. Several customers were also fined for parking bikes on the roadside.

The incident took place at Khosla Electronics on Niamatpur Chittaranjan Road, near Priya More, under the Niamatpur Outpost of Kulti police station in Asansol. On Sunday morning, the electronics shop started an offer of headphones for Re 1. As the news spread, a huge crowd began gathering in front of the shop from morning. A long queue formed in front of the shop in the hope of getting headphones for one rupee.

After the shop opened, as customers started collecting headphones one after another, the situation quickly turned tense. A intense scramble broke out among customers to avail the offer. Controlling the crowd became practically impossible. Finally, as the situation went out of control, the authorities were forced to shut the shop.

Meanwhile, the gathering of a large number of people in front of the shop caused a severe traffic jam on Niamatpur Chittaranjan Road. Ordinary pedestrians as well as vehicle drivers faced problems. On receiving the information, Niamatpur traffic police reached the spot. Along with controlling the situation, several customers were fined for parking bikes on the roadside and obstructing traffic movement.

According to traffic police sources, the concerned authorities did not take any prior permission from the police before launching this type of offer. However, no response has yet been received from the Khosla Electronics authorities regarding the incident.

The huge enthusiasm of customers over the one-rupee offer, along with the resulting traffic jam and chaos, has now become a topic of discussion in the area. The question is whether any advance arrangements were made to control the crowd and ensure public safety before launching such a big offer.
